Kinda sucks there's not many real hardcore shows and venues keep getting shut down.
Late summer is when all the good ones happen.
I'm tired of drivin to corona or orange county to see a good show and having to deal with kids that think they're siqq because they have a couple band shirts, been in the scene 4 monthes, have a clique of 5 people, and think they are super XTUFFX (not refrencing or slandering edge in anyway) because they can hit a girl in the crowd or try and fight people that are there to have a good time.

I can see why bands don't want to play here, because san diego kids that are into hardcore come and go by the dozen.
But I'm not gonna lie and front, I used to be like that; thinkin it was siqq that I could knock a couple kids out and have my friends jump in, it got me some respect, but it still made me look like an asshole .
I never really sat down and listened to some of the lyrics and looked around at the scene. I'm glad I know my friends and I'm glad to see that there is some that still believe in the scene; but things need to shape up.

All I'm sayin is when did brotherhood get traded for a trend?
Its about the music, not the "cool thing to be into/listen to"

whatever happened to having fun at shows, and not having a fight every time i go to a show. respect people and respect others. fuck crews. sorry for the vent, but this happened to my friend the other night at xAFBx show at chain. low lifes who cut the lights out in the alley at chain THEN jump my friend. yeah, REAL FUCKIN TOUGH. stupid shit like that is what is causing this to die.

YES! They're the only band I've been listening to lately.

They're comming here in March with ADTR and The Devil Wears Prada.
